Make Some Noise, Raise The Roof & Run Around The White House to Fight Cancer’s Below The Belt!

We have news of 2 BIG and exciting events coming up later this year designed to raise LOTS OF AWARENESS about GYN cancers.   Read on to find out what’s going on and how YOU can take part in simple ways that can make a huge difference.

*On September 29^th, over 60 countries will take part in the first annual Globeathon to End Women’s Cancers.   People from around the world will walk to raise awareness about below the belt cancers that kill tens of thousands of women each year.  Washington, DC will be the host for a 24 hour Relay Around the White House to End Women’s Cancers.  Check out Globethaon for all the latest information.  Please spread the word and tell your friends to “like” the Globeathon site on Facebook. 

*After more than 3 years and 500 hours of footage, the documentary film No Evidence of Disease is ready for a theater near you!  Actually, YOU can make that happen in your community.  Spark Media has partnered with Tugg.com, an online film distribution company.  Our goal is 100 screenings nation-wide, starting in September, GYN Cancer Awareness Month.  We need your help to make this happen.  

Below you will see an information page so you can see how easy it is to arrange a screening at a local theater.  Other than the price of a movie ticket, there is no cost to you.  And in fact, your organization will receive 5% of the proceeds!   All that is required is reaching out to friends, family, networks, anyone you can think of and invite them to the film.  Once a threshold number of reservations has been reached, the screening is a go.  In fact, you can customize the event so that it becomes a fundraiser and/or a panel discussion, Q and A, whatever you want!
